Ever get that feeling of being stuck?
It can feel like you are on a rollercoaster, but every time you think it has finished the last loop, it sets off again.
You need to get off onto steady ground but you don’t know how to make it stop.
Sound familiar?
Life is an emotional rollercoaster, it has highs and it has lows. This is part of life and it is what makes life great.
The lows make the highs feel so much better, they make it worthwhile. You must embrace it, recognise the emotion, ask yourself it if it is helpful, switch if necessary, and then throw your arms in the air and go with it!
Imagine if there weren’t any highs or lows?
You just sit in the carriage, locked in and ready to go but it just sets off at a slow pace and nothing happens. Every time you turn the corner you expect something to happen yet it’s just more of the same. Nothing changes.
Round and round and round, and round!
Is this how you would want life to be?
To thrive in life means that you thrive in that high, not focus on the low that may (or may not) be around the next bend.
The low points are the bits that make us more resilient, they are the bits that force us to see what we are truly capable of.
This is when we transform into a brighter, stronger version of ourselves.
The hardest times often lead to the greatest moments in your life. Keep going. Tough situations build strong people in the end. (Roy Bennett)
You can’t control what is around the corner but you can enjoy all the positives that are happening at this moment.
